Eleanor of Aquataine
One of the projects for the Mixed Media class was to pick an actor/actress to honor in a mixed media art piece. I chose Katharine Hepburn in The Lion In Winter for my piece. Here are photos of the final piece. It measures 12x12.
The detail on the right side is done in a reposse style with metal including words that depict Eleanor.
On the left side it portrays the tower that Eleanor was held captive in for 10 years. The doors open to show her inside. On the bottom of the left side is a transfer from the movie, you can see the tower through it.
On the very bottom it depicts Eleanor coming across the water to join her family at Christmas time.
