what the holidays brought

yes, it is as bad as it looks but today i only have a little bit of a bruise under my eye.  We went out and when we got home I went into the back to feed Zaya, yes Zaya the mastiff, I leaned down to get her food dish when her giant hard head came up under me and smacked me in my left temple area.  Immediately swelling and bruising.  Cold compresses on it for the next two days.  She never felt a thing and wondered why I wasn't putting food in her dish immediately.
