Laundry Day Art Quilt

This is work in progress of my newest art quilt "Laundry Day". The picture below shows it without the hanging part. a rod will go through the loops on the top with fibers handing down at the ends. You will note a embroidery thread hanging down from the bottom, that is because I am still chain stitching the bottom part. A lot more hand stitching will go onto this before it gets adhered to the back. The sky was hand dyed. just thought i would share while it was still in progress. Stay tuned for a completed photo. This piece will go in for jury to the Art Center in San Luis Obispo for their Fiber Exhibit.
