poison oak

I had a horrible case of poison oak. It is in my eyes, around my neck, inside both my arms, on the back of both hands and a spot on my hip. I am taking the stupid steriods for it and it seems to be working.....but not fast enough. I have no idea how I get this and I really try to be careful about petting the cats when they are outside. If anyone knows anything that helps ease the itching I would love to know it. I find myself waking up during the night scratching like crazy. AAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
