light bulb mobile

 Do you recognize those shapes?  yes, they are light bulbs.  they have been decoupaged with tissue paper which has been stamped on.  After adhering the tissue paper onto the light bulbs with Mod Podge I used fluid acrylic paint to give them color.  Then the tops of them were drilled so I could place hoops into the hole.  Fishing swivels were then clipped to the hoops and fishing line attached.  Fibers were blued around the top of the bulbs. The fishing line was sewn into the fiber wrapped bamboo and fiber added to the ends and made as a hanger.  They make a nice sound when they run into each other.  And I have found that they are very sturdy because I have dropped them a couple of times and no breakage!
