While cleaning I stumbled upon a pack of 9 little canvases. 4x4x1.5 little canvases. I pulled them out and started playing......here are my results:

thank you! They sure were fun to make. I used a lot of left over art tissue paper.....the kind that bleeds. I had used a lot of it to do backgrounds on white paper and when they dried and fell off the white paper I stuck them into a zip lock for future use. They were perfect for this project. They had color, very light color, so what was underneath them showed through.

i've got a bag of used bleeding tissue paper, too (i typed "used bleeding tissue," but that sounded horrid).

snort, used bleeding tissue. your right it does sound horrid. But arn't those little pieces of already bled tisse wonderful. sheer and yet colorful.
