Thor

Meet Thor.....the truck not the child. This is the newest member of our family. Thor is well loved and the child (kyle) is in love with it.....but for the life of me I cannot tell you why. At least Thor was very very cheap, um inexpensive, and will be well loved by it's new owner. sigh

ART finally done

These letters are the paper mache kind that you get at a craft store. They were primed and the backs have been decoupaged. Then the fronts and sides were mosaiced with stained glass pieces and mirror pieces. They are going to hang outside on the front porch.

garden in bloom

The entire yard seems to be in bloom right now so I went out with the camera set on macro and took lots of pictures. The bees are everywhere and really enjoying all of the blooms as are the hummingbirds.

yard art!!

She started out as a rusty piece of yard art. She needed color. I primed her and then gave her color, lots of color!! Now she stands out from all of the other yard art.

Dylan

Our family lost a very good friend yesterday. He filled our lives with joy and laughter for 9 years. He was our third child and my shadow. There is a very large void left by his absence. Dylan we love you and miss you.

silk on canvas

I carved the stamp of this image, used gold Lumiere as the resist, painted the silk with Dynaflo and then adhered it to canvas!!

clay faces

A whole bunch of little polymere clay faces! They are dusted with pearl ex and then sprayed with a clear gloss.
