 The piece above is a 12x12 inch piece which will be mounted to wood which will be mounted to a 12x12 piece of stretched canvas.  Scratching away a little bit at a time until the tree is revealed!

 A little cup with inlayed color

 Above and below is a little bird cup.  Both glazes - black and blue - are Velvet glazes.

 Above and below is a hand built bowl with embossed wallpaper for texture.  The glaze is Humbolt Blue

 Above and below is a hand built bowl using a dish towel as texture.  The glaze is a combination of red shino and cuyama slip shino

 Above and below is a slumped bowl.  Rubber stamps were impressed into the wet clay for the rim and the hands.  Jet Black Velvet glaze was painted onto the hands and rim and then rubbed off for the images to show through. The back was glazed with Humbolt Blue. In the middle I placed blue stained glass and fired.

 Above and below is a small hand built cup with leaves and birds.

 Above and below is a flower bowl.  Glazed with Velvet Glazes.  The outside was then decoupaged with tissue paper and the rim of the bowl was done with a gold Krylon pen.

 And last but not least is a tree wall pillow.  Both the black and blue glazes are Velvet.
