Offering done

Offering has been completed! She has hair from a horse mane given to me by an artist friend, she is covered with tea dyed muslin and silk, her face and shoulders are made from polymere clay and baked.

Joy

This is Joy. She is the sister of Offering. Her face and shoulders are sculpted from Polymere clay and baked. The base of her body is chicken wire which has been wrapped with hand dyed muslin and gauze. She and Offering will be celebrating christmas together. Soon they will have a brother!

on my worktable right now

This is what is on my work table right now. Her title is The Offering. She stands about 15"tall. Her base is chicken wire while her face, neck and shoulders are polymere clay which has been wrapped with plaster cloth and muslin. The chicken wire is wrapped with muslin and tea dyed silk. The basket is made from muslin. Her arms are muslin wrapped wire. There are different items hanging from the wire of her body.....a shell, light bulb, key, seed pod, a crystal and assorted beads. Next comes her hair. She has holes poked in the top of her head where I am going to insert hair from a horse mane. I will post pictures when she is finished.
