Jerry and I took a three day acrylic workshop from Robert Burridge http://robertburridge.com/ and we had a blast. Here are some photos of the work I did both at the workshop and then continued here at home. If you ever get a chance to take a workshop from him do it immediately.

mushrooms!!!

Look what I found growing in our back yard this morning. They are just beautiful. Sadly I know nothing about them so cannot harvest them and have them for dinner. I will just leave them there and admire them.

Santa Maria Sun box installed

Yesterday Jerry and I went to town to find the Santa Maria Sun box that I did. It is right on Broadway in front of Carrows restaurant and has great exposure. It was horribly windy while we were down there so the picture of me is all blowy. It was a lot of fun seeing it out in public.

arbor is done!!

The arbor, in all of it's seussical glory is done. It is wonky and wonderful. It has taken on a life of its own. As you can see from the photos there is nothing right about it but that is alright.....it fits in really well here.

wedding!!!

Scott and Angela got married on Saturday at the Firestone Brewery. It was a wonderful event. We got to meet Angela's family for the first time. The food at Firestone was wonderful as was the prewedding dinner at Mattei's Tavern. Scott and Angela arranged for a limo to take all of us to three wineries and then to dinner at Mattei's on Friday. I will upload more photos a bit later.
