Blue Tape Tree

 I collaged different tissue papers onto a piece of drawing paper, let that dry.  Then using the blue painters tape I made an image of a tree.  Just tear the tape into pieces until you have the image you want.

 Then I used blue acrylic paint and painted over the entire piece of paper.

Once the blue painters tape is removed the image of the collaged tree emerges!  This was a fun experiment and I will definitely do it again!

the chair - the plant stand

 when the legs rotted off the chair that jerry had built years ago we were going to throw it away but instead I thought how cool it would be to cut the legs off and then attach it to the pine tree stump in the back yard.  On it sits a plant that a good friend started for me which will spill down over the tree stump.  Loving how this is looking!!
