The Wedding!!!!

I had the honor of officiating my nieces wedding on August 15 at Crystal Mountain in Washington.  Heather and Charlie are a wonderful couple and I had so much fun with them.  Here are the highlights from the wedding!

Randy, Heather's father adding our names to the welcome chalkboard!
Charlie walking me down the aisle
As we wait patiently for the bridal party to begin
Bridal party in place and now here comes the bride
The beautifully elegant bride and father
 The ceremony begins.
Heather with Cathy Shute, Randys beautiful bride
 The Sheffer family photo

We all took a ride up a gondola to the top of Crystal Mountain.  The idea was for everyone in the bridal party to go up and have pictures taken.  The minute we stepped off the gondola we realized that this was not going to work.  It was freezing cold and windy.  Everyone immediately got back into the gondola and rode back down.  It is a beautiful view from up there but there is no way that we could stay up there for a photo session.
Back down the mountain an in the warmth of the reception room and the glow of the beautiful bride
Heather with Randy.  I swear they are both glowing
The photo session took place in the field near the reception hall.
Heather and Holly - two very beautiful sisters
 Me with the happy couple
Randy made a private toast to Charlie and Heather which brought tears to everyone's eyes

And of course the car awaiting the newly married couple.
Some people just can't watch out where they are going.

Even more out of the kiln!!!!

This piece started off as a wall pocket.....until the front fell off of it.....the front originally was the owl.  So I thought I would use the owl as a tile and make this a wall shelf.....until Jerry put his elbow on the owl and broke it into lots of pieces.  So  much for an owl tile.  I will make the owl wall pocket again.....someday.  In the meantime I am enjoying the wall shelf!
A planter with lady bugs crawling around it!!!

A forest man.  I plan on hanging him in the garden somewhere so he can watch over things.
