airbrush test tiiles

All of the test tiles were sprayed with Duncan cover coat underglaze.  I will give the names of the colors and how I went about getting different colors on the tiles.  The circle one above was first sprayed with CC 188 Lilac over the entire tile.  Then I cut out circles out of clear contact paper.  Put on the small circles and spray with CC 108 Miami Pink.  Put on larger circles and spray with CC 135 Lake Blue.  Took off all of the circles and then went around all of them with Velvet Jet Black underglaze using a small bottle with a metal tip.
CC108 Miami pink on entire tile.  cut the elephant out of clear contact paper and put onto tile.  Spray CC135 Lake Blue over entire piece.  Cut strips of the shelf paper and adhere to tile.  Spray with CC137 Regency purple.  remove all masks and line with Velvet Jet Black.
Spray entire tile with CC141 light yellow.  The gears are cut out from clear contact paper using a Cuttlebug die cutter.  I layed down 3 gears and then sprayed CC143 yellow orange over the tile.  Lay down 3 more gears and spray with CC194 Red wagon.  remove all the masks and go over gears with Velvet Jet Black.
Spray entire tile with CC141 light yellow.  The dragon fly is from a plastic stencil.  Lay stencil on tile and spray with CC127 fern green.
Spray tile with Cc169 peaches n cream.  I then layed torn paper around the edges and sprayed CC132 fiesta turquoise on the edges.  The inside was drawn using Velvet Jet Black.
This one is just ugly.  Not at all what I envisioned it would look like and it was a bitch to do.  All of this fussy sticky contact paper masks.  All of the masks were cut from a die.  Spray the entire tile with Cc161 blue green.  Lay down the waste from the stencil for the branch.  Cut out the bird and mask the bird.  Spray the branch with CC181 indian summer.  Mask off branch and remove bird mask and spray the bird with CC118 cobalt crystal black.  in theory it should have worked but there was black over spray and the indian summer didn't come out like I wanted it to. Next time - if there ever is a next time for this one - I will spray the bird and branch black.
Spray entire tile with Cc141 light yellow.  The image is a plastic stencil.  Lay down the stencil and spray CC127 Fern Green over stencil.
The numbers are a plastic stencil.  Lay the stencil on the tile and spray with CC132 Fiesta turquoise.  Couldn't be easier and quite effective.
