The show has been hung!!! It is awesome to see everything on the wall. THis is the first time I have seen some of these pieces hanging on a wall. Previously to this, they had been leaning against walls. Seeing them with lighting and being hung really makes them look amazing. I am so grateful to Marti for giving me this opportunity.

This is Iron wing. A metal multimedia piece. I think that this will be the last piece for the show.

This is the latest creation for the show. People have asked me where the idea came from and I truly have no idea. I just woke up early one morning and saw it. I know that it is disturbing to some people but then again at least it causes some emotional reaction to it. They won't look at it and say "oh, that is pretty" and move on.

ART SHOW!!!!

I am having a one woman art show at the college!!! I have been frantically getting everything framed and ready to hand. I suppose it would have been much easier if I had just handed everything over to a framer but, oh on, I couldn't do that. I have been handmaking each frame. Thank goodness Jerry has been helping me with all of the cutting of the wood, the putting together of the frames and putting on the wire hangers. He has been a life saver....or maybe a sanity saver. I can't wait to see everything hung on the wall on display. Everything will be there for the month of may with the reception on may 4!! Very exciting.
